Our School Prayer
This is our school.
Let peace dwell here.
Let the rooms be full of contentment.
Let love abide here.
Love of one another, love of God and love of life itself.
Let us remember that as many hands build a house,
Many hearts make a school.
Amen
Our Christian Vision at Marldon is: ‘Working together, growing together for all to flourish.’
This is at the heart of all that we do and encompasses our mission statement which is ‘we aim to enable all of our children to become self-motivated, responsible citizens who are prepared for a healthy and fulfilling life. Through providing a happy and nurturing environment alongside a broad and inspiring curriculum, children are challenged to become independent and enquiring learners allowing them to flourish and reach their full potential. By acquiring knowledge and understanding of our shared Christian values children learn to work and play together respectfully.
We DREAM – We BELIEVE – We ACHIEVE’
At Marldon C of E Primary School we also have five Christian values that form the basis of all that we do. These are values that we like to think about in all aspects of school life.
Children have opportunities to develop their understanding of these five values throughout the year. We give the children opportunities to think about each ‘Value’ through the school curriculum, general school life and school worship.
We celebrate these values during our weekly worship in school.
Each value is linked to a story from the Bible. This will help to explain what each value means.
Click on the story link below each value to find that story and an activity that you can print.
