Our Christian Values
Article 14 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child states that every child has the right to think and believe what they choose and to practise their religion.
Our School Prayer
This is our school.
Let peace dwell here.
Let the rooms be full of contentment.
Let love abide here.
Love of one another, love of God and love of life itself.
Let us remember that as many hands build a house,
Many hearts make a school.
We have a school motto – Dream, Believe, Achieve
This motto is at the heart of everything we do in school and what we are aiming for in life.
At Marldon C of E Primary School we also have five Christian values that form the basis of all that we do. These are values that we like to think about in all aspects of school life.
Children have opportunities to develop their understanding of these five values throughout the year. We give the children opportunities to think about each ‘Value’ through the school curriculum, general school life and school worship.
We celebrate these values during our weekly worship in school.
Our five Christian Values are:-
Each value is linked to a story from the Bible. This will help to explain what each value means.
